Another win for Jennifer Lawrence, this time as the face of SS13 Miss @Dior, replacing Mila Kunis

Here’s a look at Jennifer Lawrence’s @Dior #oscars gown on the #couture runway
There was plenty of red carpet interest on Sunday as the Oscars – usually the one ceremony where stars play it ultra-safe – turned out to be a little more experimental than usual.
There were clear trends too – white was a strong choice in an evening where colour really counted. And stars backed strapless, strapless and strapless, although on-shoulder looks and even those Oscars red carpet rarities – sleeves did get a look-in. The silhouette was almost universally fitted then flared at the hem, whatever the neck or sleeve detail.
We’re expecting to see Stella McCartney have some kind of #Oscars red carpet impact too.
We love these three looks
If we were going to the Oscars we would wear…
Take a look at some of our favourite red carpet-ready looks from the autumn/winter 2012/13 shows so far.
Among them: Oscar de la Renta, Gucci, Marchesa, Alberta Ferretti, Tadashi Shoji and Carolina Herrera.
Any others you’d suggest?
Recent red carpet trends have included cap or long sleeves and mega-plunge V-necks. Also lots of vivid green and blue and a touch of burgundy too. We can’t wait to see what Sunday brings.
