We visited the annual Bunka Fashion College open day in Tokyo for their fascinating show produced by students across all courses. Titled Energy Flow, this year’s show was divided into 10 different scenes, inspired by student illustrations. Here we see one of a range of futuristic architectural dresses with metallic geometric cutting and angular constructions.
In between shows at #MBFWMx, we caught up with Laura and Alejandra Laviada, the sisters behind Pantera, an accessories and homeware line that’s handmade in Mexico City. We love their use of exotic skins and animal prints. Check out more of their A/W 2012 collection here.

Haizhen Wang was announced as the winner of the 2012 Fashion Fringe at #lfw yesterday. His winning collection was inspired by the works of the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, and incporporated a fascination with Japanese armour and historical costume.
Chinese-born Haizhen Wang will now join other notable Fashion Fringe winners including Erdem, Fyodor Golan, Basso & Brooke and Corrie Nielsen.
