Marble combined with wooden elements and a flash of colour was a key trend at this year’s Milan Design Week, especially at Salone Satellite, the pavilion dedicated to up-and-coming talent. Taiwanese designer Jackie Wu’s Cracked vases are a perfect example, highlighting the imperfection of the wood with bright green lacquer.
